Writing is my passion. I began at a very early age writing poetry and short stories to express myself. I graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a BA in English, however, my career path led me into Sales and Marketing. I worked for start up companies and small businesses which allowed me the flexibility to wear many hats. In the back of my mind I was always looking for ways to write, marketing copy, advertising, promotional brochures, company newsletters and so on.  After leaving my career to become a stay-at-home-mom, I started freelance writing. I wrote for a local newspaper and then began writing a novel. Writing while raising children is a challenge that requires time management. I find this to be an invaluable skill. A few years ago, I moved with my family to Italy. Inbetween attempting to learn the lanuage and exploring the countryside, I wrote. My children were in school and it was nice to have a 'hobby' other than shopping. I began to take novel writing seriously and therefore made some serious progress. Once we moved back to the states I began writing a blog and building a platform for my writing. Soon I had completed two novels and choose to publish one, "Secret Agent of God". I love that being an 'Indie' writer allows me to be an entreprenuer because I have always had that spirit inside of me. My debut novel, "Secret Agent of God," is the result of my research as a paranormal enthusiast, but also based on a personal spiritual crisis. The story examines both love and loss. My protagonist Janice Morrison is resilliant, witty, complex and heroic. Like all of us, Janice sometimes gives in to the wrong sort of temptations but she is basically a good person. Readers have expressed a desire for more, so now I am writing a sequel to "Secret Agent of God." Thank you for reading my bio!
