Never thought reading was difficult, even in First Grade, even when I missed the first three months of that year.got through school, inspite of myself. Ended up in Equador by the time I was twenty-two. Never considered astronomy ever, as a project. But loved the Latin American and Mesoamerican cultures. So started writing about all I could find about them. But did not start until I had seven children and I got a BA at the University of Texas at Austin, in that order. Swore I was not doing Astronomy for more than twenty years. Finaly,  I had to admit I was hooked.The admission surprised me more than my friends. They had known it the whole time.
