In 1998, my Dad was in Sarasota Hospital facing heart surgery. Presented  with the possibility of his death, I held my hands over him and "directed" loving energy and blue-green light, telling him how loved he was. My sis, a nurse,exclaimed,"Look!' as she informed me that Dad's pulse, breathing rate and blood pressure all went from high to a normal range. Dad opened his eyes and said, "Put that warm blanket around me again honey."      Well THAT was the beginning of my inner knowing about energy work. Dad recovered and lived another 12 years! I had my first healing treatment and the practitioner told me to go back to my hometown in Buffalo, NY and find a Hospice Center to learn about alternative energy healing. At that moment the question arose in my mind, "Why do we have to be near dying to accept something that would be good for us in every day life?" and my life changed forever.      Once in Buffalo, I found a myriad of energy healing trainings and immersed myself in Healing Touch. By 2002 I was certified in Healing Touch, Reiki and Therapeutic Touch and as a literacy teacher, I knew I had to find a way for families and those who knew little or nothing about energy work, to discover healing through the  format of books and pictures.        Thus, my books were born. Begun in 2002 and finally published in 2014, the Healing Trilogy I AM a Rainbow (chakras), I AM Within (meditation) and I AM Healer (energy healing) were born.  I am your start-up gal, the one who wets your whistle and gets you excited about sharing energy healing concepts with friends and family. Children and parents will be able to begin chakra balancing with I AM a Rainbow, Meditate through I AM Within and start activating simple energy healing techniques through I AM Healer. ANYONE interested in the energy healing field will love these books. They are all 16-20 pages with 10 watercolor illustrations that truly support the concepts and take you on your own journeys in healing. I am SO excited to share my work with you and hope you spread the word about our OWN ability to help ourselves heal.
