I've always been a storyteller. When I was ten years old, I created three comic books. Using characters a friend and I dreamed up, I wrote three stories for each book, drew the panes, and colored them. The coloring was the worst. Sure, I was ten, but I was all over the board. I bet seven- and eight-year olds shook their heads in disgust. Out-of-control coloring aside, I was hooked. My favorite novels are ones where characters are put in terrible situations, but they at least have a chance to survive. If they have no chance, I have a hard time staying interested. I wanted to tell a story that gripped me, that my characters might be able to survive, even if I wasn't sure how they could make it through. Then I started researching pathogens and biological weapons.  Nuclear bombs are considered the most dangerous weapons to mankind, but a well designed and executed biological weapon could be as dangerous if not worse--and you wouldn't know you were infected until it was too late. The thought gives me the heebs. To amp up the stakes, I wanted my characters unable to run away.  Keres' Eyes was born. I'm extremely happy with how the novel turned out. I'm crafting my next novel, but am very proud of Keres' Eyes. I believe it is a gripping novel with twists and turns that will have you blowing off your family and letting dinner burn as you read on to find out what happens next.
