Chris Cotter is a guitar and ensemble instructor at Infinity Visual and Performing Arts in Jamestown, NY. In 1984, he started his formal education on the guitar with his private instructor, Robert L. Jones. Over the years spent together, they developed many effective practices, including what would become the basis for this book. In addition to teaching, Chris has played in several performing and recording projects and brings 30 years of experience and expertise on the guitar to develop effective teaching, learning, and practice strategies to students of all levels. His teaching theory is simple: “To meet the individual where he or she is every day and act as a guide on the wonderful journey of making music on the guitar”.
