Jaylin earned a bachelor’s degree in diversified studies with English emphasis.  Of all the classes that she took in college, Creative Writing was her absolute favorite.  Her career goal was to become an elementary school teacher.  However, she ended up homeschooling both of her children through eighth grade, along with two other children.  She also worked in insurance and worked at the library.  Then she earned a paralegal degree and worked as a paralegal for almost two years until she was laid off from her job.  The layoff was a blessing in disguise because it gave her an opportunity to go back to her love of writing.  At the time of the layoff, she had been working on her first book for four years.  She decided that it was time to get serious about her writing and get published.  She is a Christian, and she loves to write about her faith.  She has been called to use the writing skills that God gave her to encourage others all over the world.  She wrote several articles, published them online, and was blessed to receive letters from people as far away as Tanzania and Mauritius.  She was also chosen to be a contributing author of Short Testimonies, which is being circulated in India to inspire people to seek a relationship with Jesus Christ. He Will Never Leave You is her first book that she hopes will bring encouragement to many people dealing with the devastation of infidelity. She is a member of Faith Writers and Oregon Christian Writers. A recent empty nester, she lives with her husband in Oregon.
