I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and grew up in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I have been writing for a number of years across a variety of genres including action-adventure, science fiction, and contemporary fiction. Major writing influences include Kurt Vonnegut, Haruki Murakami, and 'A Confederacy of Dunces' by John Kennedy Toole. Movies by Wes Anderson, the Coen Brothers (especially The Big Lebowski), and TV shows like Mad Men, The Wire, The Office, and Archer are also very important pieces in the mosaic of inspiration I draw upon every day.  Stories are found everywhere around us, and most of my work nowadays is focused around trying to draw out those simple but powerful everyday truths we all live through but rarely recognize.
