Hi, I’m a Canadian military brat, born and raised on army bases. After completing college in Toronto, I followed my husband to London where we live with our two sons and three pugs. Over the years, I worked in marketing in the public and private sectors while freelance writing. Two years ago, I realized life was too short to allocate only a few hours each day to my passion. I left the corporate world to write full-time. Most people thought this was a monumentally stupid thing to do, but I’ve never been one to run with the herd. Life is about learning, growing and following your dreams. The idea for the Perdition Games mystery-thriller series came years ago when my son was complaining about schoolyard games. As I listened to him, it occurred to me that games aren’t that enjoyable for the person who is ‘it’. In fact, games can be downright traumatizing. Wouldn’t it be fun to create unorthodox stories that focused on the psychological side of why characters do what they do rather than a traditional whodunit? These are not cozy mysteries with pugs solving crimes while their hapless owners flounder in their paw prints. If you like crawling into the heads of disturbed characters, I hope you give the Perdition Games books a chance.
