Having loved reading from an early age, I found that I had a flare of writing myself and explored that. In the sixth grade I wrote my own poems and Valentines. By the ninth grade I was writing short stories. In my senior year I made up my own books and gave full book reports on them--until I got caught. I love to let my God-given prolific imagination take me away from the everyday world where I can find excitement, adventure, mystery and even true love--if only on paper. I have been encouraged, not by family, but by other writers who lead workshops and helped me find my own path to walk in the wonderment of words. My best teaching came from the masters though; Dickens, Wadsworth, Poe and Hemingway who set a literary precedence for the world, amongst others. 

 I excelled in literature and composition in high school and graduated with a scholarship for having been on the honor roll for four years. I attended U of W for two years and then went on to the Mayberry School of Art in London, England, where I finished with an associate degree in applied science and literature. I have attended many writing workshops and am a published author. I have written three novels under a different name as well as several short stories.
