Sydnea Ballantyne grew up the daughter of military parents and the granddaughter of a Baptist Minister. It was under this strong headship where she learned the value of hardwork and service to her community. A professional who has been inspired by many people and passions, Ballantyne established a non-profit organization called O'RISE: Overcoming Rape, Incest, Sexual & Emotional Abuse in order to aid abused men, women, and children, and provide referrals to various outreach services. The Mission of O'RISE Foundation is to provide Healing and Restoration through Biblical applications to men, women, and children in order to overcome the physical and psychological trauma of rape, incest, sexual and emotional abuse. She is the proud mother of one daughter, Yamani. Ballantyne is currently pursuing a degree in Human Services.
