I live by the Thanet coast on the north-eastern tip of Kent, in the UK, with my family and bouncy Siberian husky. I am a full-time author and have also been a columnist for the Isle of Thanet Gazette. I write romantic suspense with a twist, fantasy, horror, and paranormal because no matter how hard I try my characters never play nice! Having been a voracious reader from childhood, I began writing fiction and poetry from an early age. The Mortiswood Tales series of books are part set in the modern world, as well as a fictional forest (Mortiswood) and realms from Norse myth. These books are my first dark fantasy romance novels and have a heap of action, as well as touches of horror and the paranormal. The books in the series so far are: Mortiswood: Kaelia Awakening and Mortiswood: Kaelia Falling. 'The Pennington Christmas Curse' and 'Always Golden' are dark fairy tales. My short story collection, 'Underleaf', is a mix of twisted, dark tales - some of which were originally penned in my teenage years. I have also released a collection of poetry entitled 'Twisted Thoughts'.
