Information
Born and bred in India during the Raj, I attended the boarding schools and colleges built during the Raj. I immigrated to America in 1966 after graduating with double bachelor's degrees in Science (Physics / Math) and Electrical Engineering. After a lifetime career in marketing in IBM and Xerox, I began my writing career in retirement to satisfy an urge to tell the story about the European adventurers who left their countries from the 1700s to the 1900s and sought their fortunes in the Indian subcontinent. They learned to live and love the land and embrace it as their own, and built an empire in the process.
