Aside from the usual influences of Shakespeare, Frost, Longfellow, and Poe, I developed a love for writing due to the works of Anne Rice as a child. As an adult, I found my work heavily influenced by that of Stephen King, James Patterson, Charlaine Harris, and Patricia Briggs.
