Based in the wilds of Northumberland in the UK, Adam's earliest influences on his writing style was Roald Dahl closely followed by Douglas Adams. He is a huge fan of classic crime by the masters like Agatha Christie and the wry comedy of Elmore Leonard and Donald Westlake but his library wouldn't be complete without a shelf of PG Wodehouse.

He studied for a degree in English Studies and holds a Masters Degree in Creative Writing and has been widely published both online and offline including in McSweeney's.
