In middle school I discovered science fiction and action adventure, and my world grew exponentially. As time progressed, I never moved on from young adult fiction, but moved into a greater love of it.
From the start, Meg and Charles Wallace Murry and the Pevensie kids captured my attention. And then Harry Potter, Katniss Everdeen, and Cammie Morgan continued to inspire me. They even spurred me one step farther: I became an author.
Now my imagination creates new characters with new stories, which are equally compelling and entertaining...maybe more so because I get to direct the personalities and storyline.
It's world domination, uh...world building, on a fun and practical level.
Hmmm, perhaps that's TMI.
