As far back as I can remember I've always had the skill of making stories come to life with a vivid imagination and love for creating them. I reach for outside the box, but tend to try and keep things as realistic as possible even though I truly love the "what if's" in life. I enjoy writing thrillers. I like making my readers cringe a little or sit in wonder. I want to make things gripping or terrifying, but at the same time I love to throw in a smidge of romance to settle the reader down. I was never a reader, only a writer, until after high school. I picked up a John Saul book and a larger world opened up in front of me. Timothy Zahn and Kevin J. Anderson lit up my sci-fi world, but it was Stephen Kings IT that taught me that anything goes in writing. He is still a major influence in my story creation.
