I was always very entrepreneurial when I was growing up and never though about having a job, in fact I have aways set up my own businesses. Then at 25 years of age I decided to stop making money just for the sake of it, having a nett worth of more than a million dollars, I decided to retire. It was great to spend so much time with my kids as they grow up but at some point I realised that they would grow up thinking that dad did not have a job or maybe that I could not get a job.... You see all my investments were passive and the kids never saw me doing anything to earn money, which probably looked about the same as a person on social benefits looks in a child's eyes. What if I get hit by a bus crossing the street, my family would not actually know how I made the money or how to keep it. I talked to a lawyer about succession planning and yes they could appoint a executor to manage the money for them but I have very little faith in the ability of these professionals to grow and protect family wealth. My great grandfathers on both sides had made lots of money in their time but unfortunately the future generations lost it and obviously did not know how they did it. So that is why I decided to write this book, "Why are you still a slave" might be on the shelves in a hundred years time and my great grand kids could read the book and learn what I know to help their lives. This is actually 55,000 words of my best advice for my children and for a very small amount of money you can find out what wealthy people want to teach their kids about money. I have many achievements and most of that is because of the time I have had to do different things in my life. Not having a job gives you lots of time. But the greatest of my achievements is to inspire countless others to believe that their life can have more in it than just a 9-5 job and beer on the weekends.

As far as education goes I failed year 10 english but that was a long time ago and since then I have invested heavily in my education. Recently I just finished a Post graduate diploma in Applied Finance at QUT university, Nothing unusual there but that I never did any kind of undergraduate degree.
