Frank Terry was born in Grassvallley, California in October of '48, but his first memories are of the Weiler Homes low income project in East Toledo, Ohio where he was raised till age 14. There he attended East Side Central, Oakdale, and Waite High Schools. But, his heaven on earth was the beloved family farm, fifty miles south near tiny McComb where his rural adventurers abounded. In 1963, his mom's job change led them and Franks two brothers to historic Chambersburg, PA where he graduated from high school in 1966. Frank was drafted in the Spring of 1968. Joining the Marine Corps, he shipped out for boot-camp at the notorious Paris Island, South Carolina. After training there and Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, he attended radio repair school at MCRD, San Diego. In time, however, he found himself on the First Marine Division Rifle-Pistol Team at Camp Pendleton, California. By '82, Frank began a career in the restoration painting of fine historic homes. His own photo articles of his work have appeared in Old House Journal and American Bungalow. Today, he lives in Northwest Indiana, near his grown children, Katrin, Ted, and Melanie.
