Sir Rawl is the author of three poetry collections: The Symposium Library of Poetry Indigo–My Latin Tongue Biology Dog He explains that his first introduction to poetry was a blessing. At the age of 17, he began to learn about poetic structures in rhyming, based on subject matters, as well as different types of poetry styles such as Limerick, Haiku, Sonnet, Lyric, and more. As a high school student, his creative talents blossomed, when, as part of an English course project he deconstructed songs based on the theme, mood, and poetic imagery; this was the essential beginning to his creative life. Sir Rawl explains “Creative expression is very important to me because it allows me to convey my thoughts and emotions, where my knowledge can search my soul. I can bring my ideas and aspirations to reality where others can share the same experience through words and understanding. Now, I can visualize and write how I feel in short memorable moments.” He is an insightful artist who is inspired by all types of arts and literature. He is also an author of children's books, as well as a talented musical producer, publisher and songwriter. Born and raised in the West Indies, he is now a proud Canadian living in Toronto, where he runs a music and book company.
