R.C. Kerr was born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland. He fell in love with the city's darker side at a young age and spent years researching tales of witches, poltergeists and all manner of supernatural entities that haunt the mist-shrouded graveyards and cobblestoned alleyways. After moving to the United States, he brought these stories with him to the ancient moss-draped oaks and sprawling mansions of the Deep South. He currently lives in North Florida with his wife, daughter, a teacup Yorkie and an Egyptian cat named Sphinx.

My career began in the world of advertising and over the years have been lucky enough to be recognized with over 500 awards such as The Emmys, The Addys, Graphis, The One Show, The New York Art Director's Club, Communication Arts and Best of Show in the National Healthcare Marketing Awards.

As a screenwriter, my work has garnered critical acclaim in prestigious competitions such as The Academy Nicholl Fellowship—and I have optioned a number of screenplays to various production companies that are currently in development.
