Elena Dorothy Bowman is a science fiction, romance, mystery writer. She has written over thirty-four short stories. Formerly an aerospace software engineer, she is an Honors graduate of Fitchburg College earning her BS Degree in Engineering and Management. She serves as an officer in the Massachusetts Chapter of the National League of American PenWomen. Her published novel Sarah’s Landing-I, which has won the coveted APA award for its audio book, is the first in a series of four completed science- fiction/mystery/romance novels, her second published novel, is the mystery novel, The House On The Bluff. She is also the author of Time In A Rift and the Gatekeeper’s Realm, her prize winning short story was published in The Lowell Sun. She lives in Massachusetts with her husband and four children, and has recently completed her eleventh novel.

Elena earned a BS Degree in Engineering and Management, and has held the offices of State President, Treasurer, and Letters Chairperson of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National League of American Pen Women. She is currently President of the Merrimack Valley Branch. A Software Engineer turned author, she has completed eight full-length fiction novels, 4 non-fiction books. The mother of four, Elena resides in Chelmsford, Massachusetts with her husband James.

Her first novel "Sarah's Landing-Episode I - Contact" -is the first in the "Sarah's Landing Series" of four books. A science fiction novel containing all the elements of fantasy, mystery, telepathy and romance.
