Information
I spend nights wandering the crime beat in downtown Lewiston, Maine. My newsroom desk is decorated with ghouls and bats. I've had many first dates in cemeteries and I take the week of Halloween off each year. Sometimes I visit Salem, Massachusetts. Last year, it was Sleepy Hollow. Many years, I've spent the big night at the grave of Edgar Allan Poe. On the Fourth of July though, I'm quite normal.

Maine's 2006 Journalist of the Year. Since it was introduced in 2002, my weekly column "Street Talk" has been named both best in state and best in New England. I've also won numerous awards for crime reporting. Once won a Gino Vinalli album by placing the eleventh call to a radio station. Never really liked Gino Vinalli.
