Yankee Doodle Daddy is a historical Appalachian Family Saga. The story follows a mother's reckoning as she struggles to survive and keep her four daughters alive.
Like most of my stories, I too am multiethnic. As a result, a variety of such stories live inside my head, and I have empathy for my characters

I am a Canadian poet, a storyteller, a writer of fiction and an artist, who was born in Kingston Jamaica, where I was greatly influenced by the diversity and ethnicity of the people there, who shared one culture, and shaped my life.
I am excited by the cultural blendings to be found here in Toronto. My work in Toronto's library sytem excites and enriches my interest in storytelling, puppetry, and art, as well as my long lasting love affair with books
