Jack McNally was nine years old when his uncle took him to see 'The Blob'. It not only scared him, it scarred him for life. He was hooked. From then on, he collected horror magazines while other kids collected comic books. He had every monster model on the toy store shelves. Edgar Allen Poe, H. P. Lovecraft and Ray Bradbury became his heroes. When 'Twilight Zone' and 'One Step Beyond' hit the airwaves he became increasingly mesmerized by tales of supernatural origin. In college, Jack minored in Journalism and majored in Math, The combination earned him the appropriate credential 'BS'. Jack's early working life included stints as a reporter and editor for a local newspaper and business magazine. Little did he realize those job skills would open new doors for him after his retirement from the world of 9:00 to 5:00. Now, thanks to Burning Willow Press, Kindra and Edd Sowder and the staff of the BWP Asylum, Jack looks forward to a lucrative second career scaring hapless patrons out of their hard-earned money - and maybe even scarring the minds of some young, budding authors of horror and science fiction. .
