Julia Nielsen has been writing for fifteen years and has completed four books and has published her first novel, Stepping out of the Dark, with Chipmunka publishing in London. Her and her father's much-anticipated first book in the YA series, The Crystal Locket: The Key to the Tunnels of Time--a book about time-traveling twins--is avaialbe with a-argusbooks.com. She is currently writing book three of the series with her co-author, Lawrence Tooley-also her father.

Julia has completed a course at The Institute of Children's Literature and she is a member of the Association of Writers and Writing Programs.
She has also written over 1000 articles both on-line and in print for national and international magazines, websites and the local paper.
She has won numerous on-line awards for her poetry and short stories.
