Born in Manhattan, NY on March 11, 1961. (soon is my 56 birthday) Ever since I can remember, I’ve been dreaming of writing a suspense novel. From the first day my mother took me to a public library, I was drawn to thrillers and suspense. Somewhere, in the back of my mind, I knew that someday I would write. It’s a childhood dream and a man’s reality. A reality that was triggered by many events in my life, but took form in the middle of the most difficult time of my life; coming to terms with the reality that my mother was being taken from me by an incurable illness, lung cancer. It was at this time that I realized that my mother was holding on to my dream and that she won’t let go until it was fulfilled. Many things happens in a man’s life that shapes our destiny. It could be unimportant events, sad moments, happy times, but all that leave a mark in it that you will not understand until that precise moment where everything comes together and you understand, really understand, why it had to happen. Reading has always been my hobby. It took me away from reality into a world unknown to me. A world that was sometimes happy, other times tragic, but always full of surprises, deep and rich. It was reading ,that the dream of becoming a writer started taking shape. I wanted to bring other people the satisfaction that I felt when reading a good book, the wonderful experience of entering another world, another dimension of the human mind, a world where you didn’t have to deal with your own problems, but for a while somebody else was there to solve life’s problems. I truly believe that life is about choices. I choose to write and I sure hope you enjoy the reading of Deadly Whispers. The second part of this trilogy, Deadly Whispers in the Wind, it comes out this year. Already in Spanish...        

Peter R. Vergara Ramirez, nacido en New York, pero residente desde 1967 en Manati, Puerto Rico. Posee un Bachillerato en Justicia Criminal, y prosigue estudios conducentes a una Maestría en la misma rama en la UNE de Barceloneta. Autor de otras seis novelas, Susurros Mortales 1 y 2. Desde pequeño soñaba con adentrarse en la rama de la psiquiatría, pero por circunstancias de la vida tuvo que comenzar a laborar a temprana edad, frustrando sus sueños de ser un médico reconocido en el campo de la conducta humana. Cuando su madre enferma de cáncer del pulmón en el 2000, y mientras es tratada por tan aciaga enfermedad en Estados Unidos, es que siente en su interior el deseo ferviente de escribir, de plasmar por escrito lo que estaba sintiendo en esos momentos tan tristes, y ahí es que nace Susurros Mortales 1, su primera novela publicada en Estados Unidos. Luego vendría su segunda novela, Susurros Mortales 2, Angel de Piedad, y que aún no ha sido publicada, y luego, una vez regresa a Puerto Rico, escribe esta obra de ficción pero acorde con el momento actual, titulada Al Final del Abismo, desarrollada completamente en su ciudad adoptiva, Manatí, y que trata sobre temas actuales en nuestra sociedad, y la superficialidad rampante en la que actualmente vivimos en nuestro Puerto Rico y en la mayoría de las naciones alrededor del mundo. Actualmente se encuentra desarrollando la tercera parte de la saga Susurros Mortales, la que espera publicar próximamente una vez culmine la publicación de las dos primeras partes, todas en español. Son historias bien escritas en su narrativa, aquí nadie bosteza ni se duerme, y mantiene al lector en un estado de suspenso todo el tiempo, siempre esperando por más. Al Final del Abismo se encuentra en formato Kindle y papel o impreso en Amazon alrededor del mundo. Actualmente casado con Lynette Martínez, una mujer maravillosa que es la luz de su vida. Residen en Manatí, Puerto Rico.
