A native Texan, Heath Whiteside was born in Dallas, Texas. Raised on a working cattle ranch bordered by wild places, his experiences as a child were exciting and memorable. Not all of his experiences, however, were good ones. He's got a past that is filled with a great deal of misery as well as excitement and daring adventures. He has suffered broken bones, severed nerves, a broken neck. This book was inspired by his personal experience, heartache, loneliness and, ultimately, his personal triumph over incredible obstacles, obstacles that are all too common in life. The author's difficult past influences strongly his creative and passionate writing style, filling the pages with apparent sincerity and realism. Apparent, too, is his attention to detail and an uncanny understanding of human nature, all of which make his writing both vivid and believable.
