Alan Pearce is former managing editor at both the International Press Institute and The Phnom Penh Post, and foreign correspondent. He has covered conflicts around the world for a variety of news organisations including Time Magazine, The Times, Sunday Times, Sunday Telegraph, Paris Match, and Sygma Photo News agency. He was seriously injured covering the Taliban takeover of Kabul in 1996 while working as the BBC Afghanistan correspondent. He is married and lives in France.
