Mostly motivated to write when effected by strong emotions, don't often write if things are going ok! During my lifetime I've been through (like all of us) some of the darker patterns of "the rich tapestry of life" which has at times been emotionally challenging. Walking and writing, (not at the same time), has got me through thus far. Also; I've a fixed belief that there is a God who cares despite how things are at times.

I spent 7 years in the British Army, (REME) where I gained a Ist class electrical engineering qualification after which I spent two years at a Theology College in Cambridge taking the cambridge diploma in religious studies. Barely scraping through as a father of two pretty amazing grown up kids of whom I'm extremely proud.
