It’s not that I am a slouch, vagabond or bum because I actually work quite hard for a living, it’s that I have a hard time conceiving that a person belongs living in one town all their lives caught up in a ritual of an 8 hour workday only to return home to a repetitious cycles of eating watching the tube, and then slipping under the same covers only to wake again and begin that daily scenario over and over again as they gingerly wait for that one or two week vacation every year. Don’t get me wrong, I lived that before and made the best of everyday as I did. I love my skills but here’s something I love more, my Freedom of adventure enabling me to incorporate those skills on the road as I leave my mark across the United States and now Canada. I’m an extraordinary stone mason by trade during the day. I developed an aspect of all building trades including shipbuilding and renovations no limited to boats, but older automobiles. Buy a fifty dollar car, I’d sell it a month later for a couple thousand dollars. I had money and I didn’t have money. One left me content in a way while the other left me on the road seeing things that made most envious of my lifestyle. Recently I left landlocked Nebraska and ventured out east to Maine where I purchased an old church as a living den. My three German Sheppard dogs (being all brothers) came along of course. With the location being as lose to the highway as it was, I decided that these animals needed something better than being left locked up in a kennel. I purchased a 38 foot old fishing boat in Nova Scotia and took to the high seas scouring a better life of freedom where I can pull up to some desolate shore enabling the three to venture the mysteries we have not seen before. I seek a land within the realm of reality where I can reside in bliss and set my unchartered courses for what it is I may never find. My writing keeps me locked in a somewhere in a realm of reality and fantasy which I steer the direction given by the sea. Living between Maine, Nova Scotia and Florida, keeps my life full of adventure. If it wasnt for my k9s, I probably wouldn't write. But that romantic comfort filled with heartwarming romance as they lay contently sleeping at my feet, gives me an inspiring purpose to tell the world my story. www.lulu.com/spotlight/timberforest www.davezink.com
