Within public education Bill has been nominated for his respective school's Teacher of the Year award on three different occassions. He is certified as a public teacher and soon to be administrator in both the state's of North Carolina and Maryland. He served admirably and successfully in the USMC from 1985-1988, and has led his high school sport's teams to several outstanding records, and seasons. He was selected Coach of the Year in 2001 by his peers in Charlotte, NC.
