I spent twenty years helping my grandfather, a retired British Historian, sort, restore and rewrite the history of our family in Scotland and England. That is where I came across the basis for my historical novel set in the year before the rising of William Wallace. I was working on pages for the history of my family in the late 1200s, and thought it a perfect story for a marvelous historical romance. I currently reside one-half of the year in Britain, the rest in Kentucky – a pattern of my whole life. Receiving my education on both sides of the Pond gives me an unique perspective into both countries. I am a reviewer on staff at The Best Reviews, Paranormal Romance Reviews, Sensual Romance Reviews and Rambles, a Celtic e-magazine. After a devasting house fire at the start of 2010, I moved to La Grange, Kentucky - a very Victorian town, a step out of time...much like my Sisters settings.
I have two series of Romances-- A Contemporary Paranormal series, first two The Invasion of Falgannon Isle (November 2006) and Riding the Thunder (October 2007 -- Winner of Gayle Wilson Award of Excellence for Best Contemporary Romance) . A Wolf in Wolf's Clothing is the third in the series, soon to be followed by Some Things Never Change.
The second series is Scottish Medieval Historicals. The first, A Restless Knight by Kensington Books in July 2006 followed In Her Bed August 2007. One Snowy Knight 2009. This series will be re-release by Prairie Rose Publications, in their original form, with the change of In Her Bed going back to the original title Ravenhawke, and Redemption the fourth in the series coming soon.
