I'm 30 years old and live in the city of Edinburgh in Scotland. In general, I've always been a fan of horror both in the written word and on the big screen. One of my biggest influences is Stephen King. I've been writing since high school in one way or another. My first book, A Scary Story, although not published until 2006, is a re-draft of a series of stories that I did in my final year. My second book, Genocide was originally meant to be about vampires but evolved quite dramatically (no vampires in final draft) as I decided to incorporate ideas still floating about from A Scary Story. I would like to stress though that Genocide is NOT a sequel. It can be read as a story in its own right, although the reader will get more out of it if he/she has read A Scary Story. I've just published my third book, Guilt - A Trilogy which is a trilogy of stories about the lives of five friends and those about them after a mugging goes wrong one night resulting in the deaths of innocent people.
