Ivy Seijo was born, raised and educated in Puerto Rico; she has never lived anywhere else. She began to express herself through writing at the age of four by composing small
poems to her mother; whom she credits with instilling in her the love for reading.

This powerful legacy nurtured her during major crises and dark periods throughout her entire life. Most of what she writes about is a consolidation of her own life experience and that of those around her... coupled with a cup of idealism... 4 zillion cups of hope... 10 zillion cups of her
own wishful thinking and that of her favorite people.
Most of her professional life was spent working for the airline industry. She is grateful to finally have the opportunity to return to her first and deepest passion: that of sharing the knowledge and lessons acquired throughout her pilgrimage with others.
Ivy Seijo (a pseudonym) lives in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, along with her mate of 29 years... the memories of bringing up two wonderful daughters... pictures of her beautiful grandchildren... her two Shih Tsu's Muñeca Chiquitita, her Puertorrican Mutt, Taína and her Red Eared Slider Turtle, Pepita!
