Dubbed "One of Westchester's Rising Stars" in 2000 (by Whitney Radio Group Owner-President, William O'Shaughnessy), saluted as a Phenomenal Woman in 2005 (by Emmis Communications) and appointed a National Poetry Month Ambassador in 2006, Lisa Tolliver (A.B. Harvard, M.B.A. and post-graduate Columbia), is Principal Owner of professional services firm 360 MERIDIAN, LLC. There, she provides success coaching, strategic consulting, and communications services to private and public sector clients. She also hosts several business and public affairs radio shows, lectures internationally, serves on several organizational boards, and teaches university and non-credit courses. Tolliver's first paid editing gig was in junior high school, where teachers paid her to grade and comment on students' essays. In high school, won an Alpha Kappa Alpha Writing Award, Black Elks (Improved Benevolent Protective Order of the Elks) Oratorical Contest and edited her class yearbook. During college, she amassed additional editing, writing and publishing experience at United Press International, the Radcliffe Publishing Office, Harvard Student Agencies Publications (where she edited and prepared Let's Go travel guides and other manuscripts for publication), and numerous work-for-hire engagements. Her publications include two telecom industry guidebooks and numerous articles, regulatory filings, applied research studies, strategic plans, educational materials and creative works. She has also exhibited ethnographic fieldwork and documentary photography in initiatives sponsored by the Library of Congress American Folklife Center and Brigham Young University/Utah Heritage Project. Lisa Tolliver now serves on several editorial and peer review boards, writes several blog columns (e.g., Lisa Tolliver On Air and Online, Emergency Preparedness and Safety Tips, BlogCritics.org and SCORE Westchester: Counselors to America's Small Business), and helps numerous "brick" and "click" clients develop and distribute digital and print content for entertainment, commercial, educational and community-based audiences.

Recent honorable distinctions include kudos from the Surgeon General of the United States and the Westchester Emergency Volunteer Reserves-Medical Reserve Corps for distributing Emergency Preparedness & Safety Tips On Air and Online; appointment in 2006 as a Poetry Ambassador; a 2005 Emmis Communications Phenomenal Woman Award; selection for multiple Ford Foundation and Columbia Journalism School programs for media gatekeepers and outstanding journalists; honorable recognition by SCORE: Counselors to America's Small Business as a SCORE Success Story and SCORE Counselor, and honorable distinctions as an entrepreneur and management consultant by Business Owners Idea Cafe, the MTA-PriceWaterhouseCoopers PREP program for government contracting, the U.S. Small Business Administration, several Marquis Who's Who publications and IAWMD Who's Who on the Web.

Ms. Tolliver has also been honored as an outstanding educator. She is published in Marquis Who'sWho in American Education and Who's Who Among America's Teachers, was selected for a Coleman Award for Educators in Entrepreneurship by the United States Association for Small Business and Enterprise, and received awards from Turner Construction and the National Association of Minority Contractors.
