Amen Light of an Angel Light of an Angel is a book which inspires hope by searching our hearts, sharing stories, and explores the reality of the Guardian Angel. This is not a book that will teach you the art of a clairvoyant or some magical way to contact your angel. It is a book which will encourage prayers to the Guardian angels and to the Saints. The stories are true and some of them are written by Christian men and women, and some are true stories of Catholic Saints such as St. Francis and St. Padre Pio. The book was written in memory of my sister. After she died, my father used to ask that something be written in her memory. After she died, a friend asked:where was her angel? It was a good question, and it led me to search for an answer. Her angel was with her and took her to her ever lasting home of our Father in heaven, where she is now held in His arms. In a moment of stress and mourning, that is not the answer that comes to mind most readily as we try to explain our belief that our loved one really is in the Hands of God. There has been much publicity on the subject of angels and a lot of the writings are very encouraging and teach us to be aware of their presence, but this will not guarantee that you or I will see an angel. I chose the title Looking for Angels, because quite honestly, that is what I was doing. In this pursuit, I attained the knowledge that this is not what we should do if we are to trust God and believe in His everlasting care and love for us. We look for angels, but usually this is just the beginning of something bigger and better. What we are really searching for is to know and love God, and believe that He is with us always. The study of Angels will lead us to acquire knowledge and the Truth about God. In addition to our search for God, we find that a lot of us are searching for the same answers, and have the same yearnings for the love of God in our hearts and to know that we are loved by each other. We can pray to our angels to lead us to God with a greater faith.
