"Papa Was A Rolling Stone: A Daughter's Journey to Forgiveness" was written to tell the story, my story of father absence. My writing began out of anger with my father who choose to be absent in my life and the lives of nine other children. I struggled for years with the anger and negative feels and ultimately realized that the person carrying the burden was me. I recognized that I needed to forgive my father to free myself of the heavy burden that I carried.
