I was called to minister God's word in 1998. I knew I was called to help people but I didn't know it was ministering the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have always had a desire to help people see their potential and power they have once they give their lives to Jesus Christ. As an Evangelist/Pastor, I would go into the highways and by-ways to witness for the Lord and what I found was disturbing. I found in my African-American community many who have given up "hope," and without hope you have nothing. I started realizing that people gave up hope for many reasons, some was because of the racism and a superiority/inferiority complex. My background in diversity training also supported this truth. This is what inspired me to write, "The Truth About the Superior Lie: A book to resurrect the lives of African-Americans Crucified by the Lie." The Lie is that no group of people is better than another group because of skin color. This book addresses many lies that have also been preached one big lie is that Ham was cursed and Ham wasn't cursed it was his son Canaan and this was not the reason blacks were enslaved. Secondly, the book talks about how drugs were deliberately placed in urban communities to continue to enslave us mentally. Then I share my personal testimony that had it not been for the Lord on my side I know I would be no good to anyone. It is only my hope in Jesus Christ that I am able to do all that He has purposed me to do. This book is an eye-opener--you will learn some truths about slavery and most of all freedom and how we have allowed freedom to enslave us. It doesn't make sense to be enslaved in a free society.
