An early medical retirement lead to my taking creative writing classes at the University of Southern Maine, then joining a writers group for combat veterans gave me the inspiration to start writing about myself and the people that influenced my life. The passing of my brother lead to my publishing of "The Boyz of Bradner", the small town I grew up in and the things we did. This book is a feel good book that will make everyone that reads it smile and think of their childhood, remember the good things long forgotten. It also serves to give the backround of my upbringing which will help the reader understand me in my next book to be titled "So Others May Live", my life in the military as a special ops. My greatest achievements are my two sons, Matt and Ryan and my three grand children, Matthew, Aubrey and Charlie. As for my writing, I've won a couple of writing contests and placed second a couple of times against professional writers.
