Fiction which closely mirrors reality is my first love as a writer, poetry is somewhere in the mix but we have not had a great relationship in recent years. You can call me Dr. Wells, since I am in fact a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, and I from one of the greatest cities in the world, in the greatest country in the world and I dig writers, who are the greatest people in the world.
Background
Information
I am motivated to trick people into thinking while enjoying a good read, and I ultimately want the seat of our minds to be hot enough that we get up and see what's going on. I have written one book to date (A Field Negroes Handbook), and some of my major influences are Norman Mailer (whom I call "First Among Equals"), Charles Chestnutt, Ralph Ellison ("The Saint"), Anatole Broyard and Jim Butcher.
