I was born in 1945, in Edinburgh, Scotland. My parents and older sister Margaret and I came over to Canada in 1957 by ship, her name was "The Fairsea." I am the youngest daughter of four sisters, born to John Neilson-Rankine and Isabella Pow-Rankine. Sisters: Ruby, Katherine, Margaret.
I am married now to my husband Denis, a retired French teacher. We live with our diabetic 13 year old cat Serge

Information
When I was a child growing up in Edinburgh, Scotland, I read this enchanting, magical, book called "The Enchanted Wood" by Enid Blyton. Infact I read her book just a few years past and still found it amazingly interesting.
It was Enid Blyton that got me to my great imagination to this day. I love reading children's books..children are awesome. I have written quite a few over the years.
I will be published with one of my books sometime this year by Publishamerica.. The book is a picture book with Illustrations done by Annie Zhang. My book is called "A Frog Named Waldor."
