For as far back as I can remember pen and paper have always been an outlet for me and books have been an escape. I read a wide variety of genres covering almost every conceivable subject. My writing on the other hand is more personal. I have so many notebooks, packed away in the attic or basement, or in the back of the closet, filled with poetry. More recently I have started organinzing my writing a bit. The ultimate goal is to write my life story. (It may never be published - maybe no one but me will ever read it, for now it's the journey that's important.) I am also working on a children's book, which is a lot of fun! I would love to share it with the world one of these days. For now, I am having a blast learning all the different aspects of writing. And, I have a great deal to learn. The central aspect of my writing is the foundation on which I build everything in my life - my heart!
