Susan Cotta is a licensed physical therapist in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She also is a certified instructor of CranioSacral Therapy (CST) by the Upledger Institute. Her practice includes children with disabilities, primarily children on the Autism Spectrum. These children were a catalyst in creating her book, "I Can Show You I Care: Compassionate Touch for Children." Although the book is fictional, the results are real as demonstrated by the study done on Compassionate Touch by the Upledger Institute. The other catalyst for the book was swimming with wild dolphins in Hawaii - a life-changing event! The book basically "downloaded" into my brain and I HAD to publish this work - it is imperative that safe, caring and compassionate touch be (not only) restored, but encouraged in our society! The book is written for ages 4-8years and, in story-book fashion describes not only how to do the Compassionate Touch, but the potential results - that we can change the world through compassionate touch!
