I began really writing and enjoying it in the 9th grade. I had an exceptional teacher, Mrs. Browne, who I still go to lunch with from time to time. It was thought that I had cancer when I was 25 and it scared me to death. Well, not literally, but it was scary and I thought of the things I wanted to accomplish. Writing a novel was one of them. I started writing and seven, yes, seven years later, I finished. No cancer and a book that I was afraid to let go of. Life brought me an angel, Burgandy. She was the first "adult" to read my book in the rough and she loved it so much, she pushed me everyday to get it published. (She could do that because we were co-workers!) After a year of editing and listening to her rave about the story, I sent it to PublishAmerica. I owe PA everything. They have made my dream come true. I chose to go with them so I could keep my rights to my work and they put my words into book form! They have been amazing! I wanted to write a story that would draw you in as a reader. One that would haunt your thoughts after the book was finished...so much so that you could think of the characters and their happenings and it would feel more like a memory than a story. From what I hear, I did just that. I know that many of you are looking at the price tag and having a little sticker shock...That is my biggest hurdle! I will tell you, though, I have been told it is worth every penny. Believe me, the cost is not in my control...But I did discount it if you buy it from me. Those of you who give it a chance...THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!    

Besides publishing a book, I have achieved the task of having a raising four sons. I married into four more and a daughter! Whew!
