Ananda Kiamsha Madelyn Leeke is an author, poet, artist, yoga teacher, Reiki practitioner, and entrepreneur. Her debut novel Love's Troubadours - Karma: Book One was published by iUniverse in August 2007. It can be purchased on Amazon.com for $20.95. Leeke's poetry appeared in Beyond the Frontier: African American Poetry for the 21st Century. She is currently writing her poetic memoir (to be published by iUniverse in Spring 2008). Leeke currently works as an artist-in-residence for Smith Farm Center for Healing and the Arts (www.smithfarm.com) at Howard University Hospital. In addition, she facilitates self-care and expressive arts workshops for women, healthcare professionals, people living with cancer and HIV/AIDS, interfaith communities, and children with special learning styles. Leeke is a graduate of Morgan State University, Howard University School of Law, and Georgetown University Law Center. She lives in Washington, DC.
