Writing to me is more than just telling a story. It's bringing places and characters to life as if they're real. A part of something others can relate to, or simply escape into. The characters I write about are generally a merging of personalities and people I know in real life with a little twist thrown in for fun. When writing a story, I usually know the ending and the beginning in my head long before I'm able to fill the gaps in between. That is where the fun begins. Watching the characters grow and emerge from blank pages. Somewhat, like watching a child grow into adulthood. It's a process, and one I love dearly.
