Background Information

D.L.Sparks lives in Georgia with her husband and two children. Her career in writing evolved from a love of reading. D.L.Sparks is a contributing writer for DC Bookman, an online urban-literary magazine, and was a contributing author in the 2007 Erogenous Zone: A Sexual Voyage, with her short story entitled, “keySTROKES.” D.L. holds an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. When D.L. is not writing, she spends time with her family, likes to travel and she runs her own editing business.

Accomplishments

D.L. Sparks was nominee for Cush City’s Best New Author award for 2007. She is also currently a nominee for and NAACP Image award for Debut Author of the year.
