Lisa's is greatly influenced by past events and believes strongly that our past ultimately determines who and what we'll become in the future. Her recent passion for genealogy has inspired her write about "People of Color" in America and the often untold impact they have had on our past and continue to have today. Her writings focus primarily on the early history of Free & Enslaved "People of Color" in America during the two hundred year period preceding the Civil War.
