I have always felt a great attraction to writing; I wasn't very good with it in school at all. I tend to speak better in words, usually when I have to say something to someone I usually write them. I started off by writing poetry, the usual teenage emotions so it was a great start, and as I got older, life started to make more sense and my work started to be more serious. My writing is influenced by a special lady in my life, my late aunty Margie; she is a remarkable author and always encouraged me to do what I love most. She is in all my work, her thoughts, her voice, her love. She asked me before her passing to show her work to all, most of the poems are mine and some are Margaret's. I am not like other authors who have the money and the means to get their work published, I am a stay at home Mom whose passion is to write and for people to read, I am not here to make money, but to give a smile to a child one at a time...
