Well, my main influence would be music, in particular, rock music. There's something about the lyrics, rhythm, vocals that inspires me to write. It doesn't have to be one of my urban thrillers, I could be writing a comedy or a romance and I'll still be listening to rock music.
It was S.E.Hinton's book The Outsiders, that made me want to become an author. I wanted to read more rebel type novels, but they are hard to find. I want to change that.
